thanx lil boy

trackback for 101106: mom got me a new pair of shoes. whayy! wikkid~

hmm. things have been great. great to be back & sure is glad that he’s back. he’s no doubt the one who keeps everyone together. the one who makes me have a reason to stay. things were bleak without him ’round. he’s back now to rebuild everything – confidence, trust and most of all, respect. he sure amazes me with the things he say & do. it’s no doubt that the bond we’ve as a team’s strong. though some might have left, we are always the team. well, guess it’s up to the few left to rebuild what was lost. gotta pass on what we do best & known for. iko-yo! we’ve lost our shine, gotta restore it. most of all, welcome back lil boy, great to have ya back!

grand master sudoku challenge ‘06

right. torn every muscle there is in my body after the ‘grand master sudoku challenge 2006′ finals which was on bout a day ago. can barely walk now but it sure is one hell ‘o an xperience. only managed to write bout it now, now that i finally settled down in my own seat. am one happy kid i can say for being able to be there at the event & be the first to take on the largest sudoku sheet in town. honored! didn’t know that it was going to be held that way, that the 3 finalists would solve the huge 19.33 ft by 19.33 ft sudoku sheet [ if i didn't misread the measurements on the certificate ] which was laid on inti’s basketball court. we were given charcoals to write with & a ladder to help us with the view. man, should’ve brought my binoculars.

right. course of events – hourly report
10:00am – setting up of the event – still!
11:00am – photograph session on the huge 19.33 ft by 19.33 ft sudoku sheet for the m’sian book of records before the elimination round begins. the event started off with ’bout 50 participants in which all were given a sudoku puzzle to complete. the fastest 3 to finish would compete in the finals to take on the sheet on the floor. this all went on till 1:00pm. i clocked in second at 5.48 minutes. the first clocked in at 5.20 minutes while the third at 5.58 minutes.
1:00pm – the grand finals begin with me takin on the sheet first. awesome! each of us were given 20 minutes though it should’ve been 30. the weather wasn’t very kind as it rains everyday at 2.
2:00pm – yes indeed it rained! just after the lad finishes his puzzle. everyone proceeded to lunch as we wait for the rain to stop so the last finalist could finish hers.
3:00pm – and so it begins – again.
4:00pm – prize givin & photo session with the press. i came second! w[][]t!
4:30pm – fin. and that’s a wrap. em people tore the sheet off the ground after strippin it into pieces with a blade. ouch!

event was sponsored by campbell’s and organized by myc – the malaysian college magazine. cheers to the team for makin it happen & a happenin one! ya’ve made a kid very happy! here’s for more to come – a toast!

- one of the banners standin guard. “hey you there, no runnin in the hall” and ohh, the puzzle on the banner cannot be solved -

small potato

w[][]t! friday! it’s over & out to saturday now. been wakin up feelin like i got hit by a truck. no xceptions this mornin. and i thought i could sleep in. a surprise awaits at half past evelen though. heh. spent most of the day in front of the computer, talkin to nii-san while he’s at work. fun~

hmm. this picture was meant for the previous post but it’s just been the word at the moment for me. a separate post it will be at. behold~

one potato, two potatoes…

one potato, two potatoes, three potatoes, four…
five potatoes, six potatoes, seven potatoes, more…

right. hmm, reminds me of this joke i’d seen on the net a few years back.

three friends: a blonde, a brunette and a redhead were being chased by the police. lookin for a place to hide, they saw three potato sacks on the ground in which they each hid in one. when the police arrived, he figured that they may be hidin in the sacks so he gave each sack a kick. the first being the brunette mimicked the sound of a dog: “woof! woof!”. the redhead on the other hand went: “meow!”. the blonde? went: “po…ta…toes…”.

right. back to my books & hello november!
